Context Layer

Terms and Conditions

Terms of service for Context Layer developer infrastructure.

Service Usage

Use of Context Layer is subject to these terms. The service provides runtime execution authority for LLM systems, including admission control, constraint enforcement, canonical context construction, and provider invocation.

Execution Limits

Execution limits are defined per plan. Free tier has a hard cap with no overflow. Production and Scale tiers include overflow pricing. Exceeding limits may result in rate limiting or service suspension until the next billing period.

Billing Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly. Overage charges apply for executions beyond the included amount. Billing is based on CL Executions as defined in the pricing documentation. Refunds are subject to our refund policy.

Acceptable Usage

The service must be used in accordance with the documentation and runtime contract. Misuse, abuse, or attempts to circumvent enforcement or rate limits may result in account suspension or termination.

BYOK Responsibilities

You are responsible for provider credentials supplied via BYOK. Context Layer does not store or retain provider keys. You are responsible for securing your provider credentials and for compliance with provider terms of service. Context Layer is not liable for provider-side failures or provider rate limits.

Limitation of Liability

Context Layer is provided as-is. We do not warrant correctness of model output, semantic accuracy, or provider-level guarantees beyond our enforcement boundaries. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
